StarControl is designed to offer programmed manual control for the StarGuide II and III Receivers. The unit is a self contained Programmer and Controller interfacing directly with the StarGuide Receiver. Using the StarScan RS232 Router, up to four StarGuide Receivers can be controlled from a single unit thus drastically cutting down on purchasing additional Audio Cards. Add our exclusive AudioDirector and switch up to four audio outputs into one input on your console and controlled by the StarControl.

The user friendly programming is based around Designer’s “Easy” prompted input on the LCD Screen. Up to 32 different programming choices are available. The Controller has the ability to switch any audio port on the StarGuide or make any audio channel software swap.

There are no complicated routines for your on-air people to remember. After programming the unit, all the on-air people have to do is enter a number that was assigned to that switch command. Example : “2 (#)” . The preprogrammed switch is made instantly! That E A S Y! NO ERROR.!

The StarControl offers a wealth of set-up options for checking proper programming. These functions are only available by authorized personal thus keeping mistakes down to minimum. In the event of power loss, the unit keeps it’s memory. The only time the memory changes is when you change it!

Installation and initial programming is quick and easy. Simply connect the RS232 output of StarControl to the M&C Port of your StarGuide Receiver or if using StarScan, following the simple instructions supplied with it to control up to Four StarGuide Receivers. If your receivers are located at the transmitter building, simply use a modem with StarControl add full remote switching capacity.

Using our special “PortConnect”, one or more StarControl Units can be used with one StarGuide II or III Receiver. Use the StarScan Router and control up to four.
